Pakistan reports 91 new deaths; 4,133 new infections during last  24 hours

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan during last 24 hours have reported 91 new deaths, besides 4,133 new infections were confirmed by the authorities.

With 91 more deaths reported in the country the death toll surged to 4,395, and with 4,133 new infections confirmed nation-wide the toll of infections jumped to 213,249.

The National Command and Operation Center (NCOC), has confirmed 213,249 coronavirus infections in the country as well as it reported 4,395 deaths due to COVID-19.

According to latest figure displayed on National Coronavirus Dashboard of NCOC on July 01, Wednesday 10:00am, the province-wise break up after confirming the toll of 213,249 infections show that Sindh is at the top of unfortunate table of COVID-19 infections.

Sindh remained worst hit province with 84, 640 coronavirus infection across the province and Punjab is still at second position on the unfortunate table of infections with 76,262 confirmed infections. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa also crossed reached to 26,598 infections of COVUD-19 across the province. Islamabad Capital Territory reached to 12,912 infections, while Balochistan jumped to 10,476 infections. Gilgit Baltistan reached to 1,489 and Azad Jammu Kashmir 1,093 infections.

Pakistan crossed one million mark of COVID-19 tests as so far 1,305,510 coronavirus tests were conducted nation-wide out of which 22,418 during last 24 hours. 100,802 coronavirus patients have recovered in the country whereas many are in critical condition.  Coronavirus epidemic patients are under treatment at quarantine centers of 462 hospitals where 7,295 beds are available.

According to latest figure displayed on National Coronavirus Dashboard of NCOC on July 01, Wednesday 10:00am, the province-wise break up after confirming the toll up regarding the total 4,395 deaths reported in the country. Punjab is at top of the list of confirmed deaths with 1,762 while Sindh with 1,377 deaths at number two. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa death toll surged to 951, Balochistan 128, Gilgit-Baltistan 26, Islamabad Capital Territory 128 and AJK 30.
