SHAWAL: At least 11 laborers were killed and several others injured, two in critical condition as a result of a bomb blast that occurred near a civilian vehicle in Gul Mirkot Tehsil Shawal of North Waziristan on Saturday.
As per details, 11 laborers lost their lives when the explosion destroyed a vehicle close to Gul Mirkot in North Waziristan.
According to the reports, there are at least three people missing and two laborers are reportedly in severe condition.
Following the explosion, law enforcement agencies reached the spot and cordoned off the entire area.
Rescue officials also reached the scene and started shifting the bodies and injured people to nearby hospital for assistance.
Interim Prime Minister Anwarul Haq Kakar “strongly condemned” the terrorist attack in a tweet.
“Heartbreaking to know about the terrorist attack in North Waziristan which claimed the lives of 11 innocent laborers. Strongly condemn this senseless act of violence and stand in solidarity with the families affected,” he tweeted.
