FAISALABAD : The police arrested 15 people including 13 suspects and two accused of injuring a private gunman of SHO during a search operation and recovered a Pump Action Gun here on Thursday.
Heavy contingent of police conducted a search operation against culprits involved in terrorist activities in village Khanchian of Faisalabad, Chak Jhumra police station jurisdiction.
During the operation, the police searched 40 houses in the locality and arrested 13 suspects.
Meanwhile, the police arrested two culprits involved in attack and injuring Farrukh, private security guard of SHO Chak Jhumra and recovered one Pump Action Gun. The SHO had illegally appointed a private security guard in police uniform.
Separate cases against the detainees were registered at police station concerned and investigation was underway. (INP)
