NORTH WAZIRISTAN: Three jewelers hailing from different parts of Bannu district have been shot dead in Mir Ali Bazar of North Waziristan. The deceased were identified as Rehmatullah, Haroon and Dildar, residents of different parts of Bannu.
In yet another incident of terrorism, three jewellers were brutally murdered in North Waziristan tribal district.
Police told The News Today (TNT) that all the three hailed from Bannu who had a jewellery shop in Mir Ali and unidentified armed men entered their shop in the night and took them away.
“They were taken hostage on gunpoint and then shot dead in the nearby fields. Their bodies were found next morning by locals who informed police about it,” said an official of police, adding that their shop was located in the middle of the main bazaar and they usually slept inside the shop.
“The attackers had left the name and address of one of the deceased on his chest,” police official said, adding that the bodies were shifted to local hospital for autopsy and police informed their families.
