30 medics including 14 doctors test positive for COVID-19 in KP

PESHAWAR: 30 medical professionals including 14 doctors have been tested positive for novel coronavirus, in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, stated in documents on Wednesday.

According to the documents, out of 30 medical staffers 14 were doctors while five para-medic staffers and 11 other medical staff have also tested positive for the virus in different parts of the province.

“Eleven doctors from Peshawar and one each from Bannu, Mardan and Swat have tested positive for the virus. One doctor from Peshawar is in a critical state,” the documents stated.

The documents further revealed that four of the infected paramedic staff hailed from Peshawar, while one belonged to Shangla.
