DI KHAN: Couple was killed inside their house over love marriage feud here, police said.
According to details, a couple Noor Wali s/o Khurshid Alam and Meena Bibi d/o Din Salam, hailing from Bannu entered in love marriage, left the area and started living in Ratta Kulachi, near New Sabzi Mandi Saddar police station jurisdiction, Dera Ismail Khan.
Jirgas and meetings were held between the elders of two families to settle the dispute. However, the girl denied returning to parent�s family saying she had entered in love marriage with Noor at her own choice.
Unidentified armed men on Sunday barged into the house, shot death both husband and wife and fled the scene after committing dual murder.
The bodies were shifted to hospital for postmortem and the police after registering a case against unidentified murderers have started investigation.
