BRUSSELS: Speakers of a seminar called upon the world community to stop human rights violation in Indian occupied Kashmir.
Speakers belonging to all shades of opinion addressed the seminar and people from different segments of the society attended seminar, which was arranged by Kashmir Council Europe (KC-EU) in connection with International Human Rights Day at its secretariat in Brussels, the capital city of Belgium.
Speaking at the seminar senior office bearer of KC-EU Ch Khalid Mahmood Joshi said, Kashmir Council EU raises its voice in favour of human rights of the people of Kashmir at every forum. He added, people of occupied Kashmir are under persistent siege for last 130 days but world is silent on difficult situation.
Former Ambassador of European Union (EU) and senior advisor of KC-EU Anthony Crasner said, we are with the oppressed people of occupied Kashmir and we shall continue to make awareness among the EU parliamentarians and other European authorities about the last situation in occupied Kashmir.
Senior Kashmiri figure Sardar Saddique said, we appeal to the peaceful people of the world to express their solidarity with the oppressed people of occupied Kashmir. The world should stop India from continuation of atrocities in occupied Kashmir.
