In this outbreak of pandemic, things are very unpredictable around us. You never know what might happen. Sundays do not even feel like Sundays.
I was just lying on my bed, looking through the window and observed that the roads were empty, the whole area around Shaheed-e-Millat looked deserted with no human life, no sound of traffic, no beggars and no men going to the mosques.
Never in my life did I feel how equal we all humans are, of course. Today we are where no rich have special privileges and they have had to go to same hospital where poor go.
Same bed, going through same curing procedures as all are being treated under similar circumstances. Both rich and poor are short of their food supplies. If poor need salary so does the rich to pay their employees. This is where we stand equal.
On the other hand, one can realize how happy nature and the animals were. Birds flew by my glass window, chirping, almost as lively as if some sort of energy has lifted their spirit. The trees and the whole sight through my window seemed crystal clear due to no dust in the air.
Dogs ran around the area, playing with no fear of getting hurt. The atmosphere seemed to be calm and relaxed. I realised how attractive my area was. It is us who makes our city miserable by all that pollution. Take a view outside, and see even though the environment is lifeless yet it’s pleasant.
