SHEIKHUPURA: A merciless malang (devotee) killed his four associates including a woman and threw their bodies in Saim Nullah, police said on Wednesday. The accused was arrested with murder weapon.
According to details, a malang of Baba Booty Shah located at Sharqpur Road Sheikhupura killed his four companions by hitting them in head with iron rod on Tuesday-Wednesday midnight.
The accused during darkness of night threw bodies of the killed devotees including Baba Nishan 70, Baba Peera 50, Sain Akhtar 45, and 55-year-old Mai Sahib in Saim Nullah.
The Rescue 1122 divers pulled out the bodies from the Saim Nullah and shifted them to hospital for postmortem.
The police arrested the accused with murder weapon and after registering a case against him started an investigation.
