LAHORE: Spokesperson of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), Marriyum Aurangzeb has claimed that Prime Minister Imran Khan is behind the arrest of Opposition Leader in National Assembly Shehbaz Sharif.
Talking to media persons in Lahore on Thursday, Aurangzeb said that PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif was arrested as soon as his trail started.
“PM got Shehbaz Sharif arrested only to satisfy his ego. This government is busy in taking political revenge,” she said.
Aurangzeb further stated that Pakistan Tehree-e-Insaaf (PTI) led government is plundering national wealth with both hands.
“They have increased the price of electricity today. There is unemployment and inflation everywhere. Treason cases launched just to get the attention away from corruption,” she said.
Referring to the interview of Former Director General, Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) she said that Bashir Memon was told to launch cases against Sharif family.
“They used National Accountability Bureau (NAB) against opposition and after failing to prove any allegation, resorted to treason cases. What message have they given to India and Kashmiri people by registering treason case against Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir,” she said.
