KARACHI: As the cracks in the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) an alliance of the 11-oppoistion parties began to deepen as Chairman Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari tore up the show cause notice issued by Shahid Khaqan Abbasi.
The PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari chaired a meeting of the party’s Central Executive Committee (CEC) to discuss its response to the show-cause notice sent to it by the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) leadership.
The participants of the meeting applauded the PPP chairman’s move. They also discussed the IMF deal, the country s economy and the SBP Ordinance, while the PDM s proposal for resignations was also discussed.
Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah briefed the meeting about the meeting of Council of Common Interests. Sources privy to the party policy said that the Sindh CM will fight the case of the people in the next meeting of the Council of Common Interests.
