ISLAMABAD: Central Information Secretary of Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians (PPP-P) and Member of the National Assembly Shazia Atta Marri has said that ruling Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government should disclose the details of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) deals in the National Assembly and the Parliament should also be taken into confidence in this regard.
In a statement issued here on Tuesday, she said that Prime Minister Imran Khan during his election campaigns used to say that he would rather commit suicide whether to approach the IMF for loans, now he (PM) should honor his words to commit suicide.
Shazia Marri said that Imran Niazi didn’t commit suicide but has been squeezing 22 core people of the country by unprecedented inflation rate and bad economic policies.
She added that Pak-Iran gas pipeline project was closed in the prejudice with President Asif Ali Zardari resultantly acute gas shortage was being faced by the country. Government’s decision of increasing prices of gas, petrol, electricity and food items has been proved anti-people decision and the gang of incompetence people have imposed on the country which has created havoc, she maintained.
The PPP leader said that if Imran Khan Niazi would not be ousted then it will be difficult to overcome the destruction caused by his anti-people policies.
