LAHORE: Ashraf Noor, convicted of murdering three women, was hanged to death on Wednesday in Lahore’s Kot Lakhpat Central Jail.
Ashraf was executed in the presence of Magistrate Waseem Akhtar, jail doctor and superintendent while authorities allowed the convict to meet his family before the day of execution.

The court handed down death sentence to the convict who killed three women, including Aisha, Deeba and Iram, 18 years ago.
After the execution, Ashraf’s family — accompanied by police contingents — took his body to home in Badami Bagh.
