RAWALPINDI: A terrorist attack on the Frontier Corps (FC) headquarters in Mohmand district was successfully repulsed by security forces, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) reported on Saturday.
The incident, which could have resulted in significant damage, ended with the elimination of four suicide bombers before they could carry out their deadly mission.
ISPR reported that the attack took place in the early morning when four terrorists attempted to infiltrate the FC camp. However, the alertness and swift response of the security forces neutralized the threat, killing all four attackers before they could cause any harm.
In the aftermath of the attack, a comprehensive search operation was launched in the area to ensure there were no additional threats from other potential terrorists. The security forces are maintaining high vigilance, determined to eliminate any remaining terrorist elements in the region.
