ISLAMABAD: Pakistani YouTuber Rajab Butt and his wife Eman Fatima have been in the spotlight following their very public separation on social media, with recent developments indicating that efforts are being made to reconcile the couple.
Rumours about the couple’s marital troubles had been circulating on social media for several days. The situation escalated after Rajab Butt had sent a divorce notice to Eman, which she shared in an Instagram story, intensifying speculation about the future of their marriage. The couple shares one son.
Amid the controversy, prominent Shia scholar Allama Asif Raza Alvi announced that he would intervene to help resolve the dispute and prevent the marriage from ending.
In a social media post, Alvi said he was working toward reconciliation between the two and expressed hope that positive news could emerge soon. According to circulating online claims, the divorce process may have been paused following his involvement, though no official confirmation has been issued.
Social media discussions around the issue have grown increasingly heated in recent days. Meanwhile, Eman broke her silence through an Instagram story shared on her official account. In the post, she wrote: “Do not consider someone’s kindness or gentleness as their weakness. If they are silent, it is only out of fear of Allah. They have handed their matter over to Allah. Indeed, Allah is the best to deliver justice.”
Some supporters urged her to forgive Rajab Butt and reconcile for the sake of their family.
