ISLAMABAD
: An accountability court on Friday ordered confiscation properties
of former chief minister Punjab Shehbaz Sharif’s son, Suleman Shehbaz regarding ongoing money
laundering case.
The major development came as the National Accountability
Bureau approached the court to
confiscate Suleman Shehbaz’s properties.
Judge Malik Amir Muhammad Khan of the court was hearing case
during which the court approved
the NAB’s request to confiscate properties of Shehbaz Sharif’s son.
The court, in its proceedings, also declared Suleman Shehbaz
an absconder and ordered
publishing of advertisements in this regard against the accused.
PTI leaders and the NAB had alleged that the former chief
minister of Punjab Shehbaz Sharif
and his sons Hamza and Suleman, who is in London these days with his family, have been involved in money
laundering of 85 billion Rupees.
