ISLAMABAD: Accountability Court of Islamabad on Tuesday granted National Accountability Burea (NAB) 13-day physical remand of former president Asif Ali Zardari in Park Lane and Fake Accounts case.
Judge Muhammad Arshad Malik of Accountability Court took up the case as Asif Zardari’s physical remand ended today.
On Monday, Asif Ali Zardari was arrested in Park Lane case, National Accountability Bureau claimed.
NAB affirmed that Zardari was apprehended on accusations of purchasing 2,460 Kanal land in Islamabad through Park Lane company back in March 2009.
Asif Zardari has more than 25% of shares in Park Lane Company, reports said.
