KARACHI: The Anti Car Lifting Cell (ACLC) arrested eight members of motorcycle lifters gangs and recovered 10 bikes during separate actions in different areas of the metropolis.
Spokesman of ACLC Rao Shahid said that operations were conducted against bike lifters in Site, Sharifabad, Liaquatabad and Aziz Bhatti police stations jurisdictions in Karachi.
He said that during separate actions eight members of bike lifters identified as Rehan son of Rustam, Babar son of Qutabuddin, Abid alias Zain s/o Irfan, Ibrahim son of Hussain, Ahmad Usman son of Nisar Ahmad, Abdul Rehman alias Safdar son of Nisar Mian, Skindar son of Siddique and Sarwar son of Wali Muhammad were arrested besides recovery of eight snatched/stolen motorcycles from their possession.
Separate cases were registered against detainees at concerned police stations and investigations were underway.
