We are in an era where social media plays very important role in our daily life. Our day starts and ends on social media. We get different kind of information through social media; according to our needs and wants. We get information about lifestyle, education, fashion, politics, cricket, economic condition, etc.
There are so many advantages of being social in life. It paves the way for social connectivity. By using social media, the people are connected together from anywhere in the world. Social media is also a good platform for acquiring knowledge.
Education is very important for everyone these days because without education one can never get success. Similarly, social media plays vital role in education. Many students get information and knowledge about their subjects from social media very easily. There are many online courses which students can do just sitting at their homes.
The third advantage of social media, in my opinion, is awareness. As now there are lots of new innovation; new technologies are coming and everyone busy knowing world. Many people are doing online business through different channels of social media for insgtance, facebook, twitter, YouTube etc. Social media has many opportunities for the people associated with marketing. Social media gives latest updates to one interested in the world. It covers almost every field of life as drama, cricket, politics, entertainment etc.
There are also some disadvantages of social media. Addiction of any work or anything is very bad and dangerous. People spend lots of time doing that work they are addicted to. Similarly, the addiction of social media is a time waste especially for the students. They cannot give proper time to their studies. They don’t sleep on time and how can they be able to study.
As more and more people are coming online, business fraud remains a possibility for the simpletons. Some individuals and companies do fraud by using online mechanism and now a days, these kind of activities are being reported on daily basis.
The most important disadvantage of social media as now is in the shape of death. Youth especially engage themselves in activities which may result in their death.
