PESHAWAR: The grave of the deceased Mullah Muhammad Umar Mujahid, Amirul Momineen, the head of Taliban Government of Afghanistan was located in Zabul province of Afghanistan. Mullah Muhammad Umar Mujahid died on 23 April 2013.
After the death of Mullah Umar, his grave was kept secret by the Afghan Taliban. The grave of Taliban leader was kept secret in view of the fear of desecration of the grave by American and NATO forces.
Almost nine and a half years after the death of Mullah Muhammad Umar, his grave was revealed today organized for the recitation of Fatiha at the grave of Mullah Umar Mujahid.
Afghan Prime Minister Mullah Muhammad Hassan, Defense Minister Mullah Muhammad Yaqub Mujahid and Interior Minister Khalifa Sirajuddin Haqqani and other officials participated in the said ceremony. By Roshan Khan Wazir
