ISLAMABAD: The All Pakistan Private Schools and Colleges Association strongly condemned the alleged video scandal incident of female students studying in Islamia University Bahawalpur.
It called the incident a humanitarian tragedy and demanded that the perpetrators of such heinous acts should be strictly punished, while the process of appointing retired persons in higher educational institutions should be reviewed.
The heads of various educational organizations, including Ishtiaq Bukhari, Advocate, Malik Safir Alam, Zaheer Anjum, Khalid Hayat Kumuka and Legal Advisor of All Pakistan Private Schools and Colleges Association Muhammad Akhlaq Awan, Advocate Supreme Court and others, in a joint statement issued a joint statement to the Pakistani educational institutions strongly condemned the immoral activities.
Speaking on this occasion, the central president of All Pakistan Private Schools and Colleges Association Malik Abrar Hussain said that this is a humanitarian incident. By doing their constitutional and legal right to prevent and punish those involved.
Every patriotic citizen has bowed his head in shame due to such heinous incidents in Pakistan’s higher education institutions, Prime Minister of Pakistan, Higher Education Commission of Pakistan, All concerned persons and institutions including the Department of Higher Education Punjab, Governor Punjab should hold a transparent inquiry into the incident of Islamia University Bahawalpur and punish the accused severely and take concrete steps to prevent such incidents in the future.
