POs among 56 outlaws held, arms, other valuables recover in Faisalabad

FAISALABAD: The police arrested 56 outlaws including proclaimed offenders (POs), drug pushers and gamblers, recovered arms, narcotics, stake money and other valuables during separate actions across the district on Saturday.

According to details, the police teams belonging to different police stations of Faisalabad launched crackdown against criminals in jurisdiction of respective police stations.

During various actions, the police arrested 56 outlaws including 11 POs, seven gamblers and drug peddlers.

The police recovered 11 pistols, two rifles, hundreds of rounds of different bores, Rs16,190 stake money and other valuables from possession of the detainees.

The police confiscated recovered arms, drugs, other valuables and after registering separate cases against the detainees at concerned police stations have started investigation.

Sihala police arrested accused Muhammad Arshad and recovered 1.33 gram hashish from him. Shehzad Town police arrested accused 03 accused namely Waqas, Ahmed Khan and Zeeshan.

Bhara Kahu police arrested accused Zahid Islam and recovered one Kalashnikov from him while police also arrested 12 persons involved in immoral activities. They were identified as Muhammad Aamir, Zulfqar Iqbal, Zeshan Kareem, Noman, Zeeshan Tariq and Rukhshanda Bibi, Sania , Tania, Sameena Bibi, Yasmeen, Saba bibi, and Shahmila Bibi.
