KARACHI: Anti-terrorism court Karachi will announce its verdict of Baldia factory carnage case today on Thursday.
After hearinv the arguments of the two sides the ourt reserved the judgment.
The verdict of the case against the tragic incident will be announced today Thursday, September 17.
The court recorded 400 statements from persons named in the case while witnesses revealed extortion of Rs 200 million in court.
MQM had sought a partnership in the factory or Rs 200 million as extortion money. Witnesses testified that Rehman Bhola, an MQM operative, later set the factory on fire killing more than 250 factory workers on 11 September, 2012.
