Kashmir - The News Today - TNT

JAMMU: National Conference leader, Ajay Sadhotra, has said that the Modi-led Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government has failed to address people’s problems because of its anti-people policies in Kashmir.

Ajay Sadhotra while addressing a party meeting here said the miseries of the people have further multiplied, adding thousands of posts in government departments of Jammu and Kashmir are lying vacant since long so much so that even the health centres and schools are without adequate staff.

Accusing the administration of being least bothered about filling the said posts, he said that this stands proved by the existing scenario in Ramnagar and Chenani areas where the problems of the general public have increased manifold.

Another party leader Rattan Lal Gupta on the occasion said BJP as well as the territory administration have betrayed the people of Jammu and Kashmir, especially those of Jammu, by promising the moon and delivering nothing on ground. He asserted that Jammu BJP leaders from top to bottom were in utter frustration today as they had no say in the party’s high command and, therefore, they cannot address the people’s problems.

Gupta said the performance of the BJP’s proxy regime in the territory has been quite dismal as per the expectations of people which is evident from the fact that its Jammu leaders are shying away from meeting the people.
