THATTA: Body of a seven-year-old girl, who went missing on Thursday, was recovered from the fields on Friday. The body was lying naked under open sky.
According to details, a student of second standard, identified as Dua Vilasio was murdered Thursday in Sahili district, Ghorabari of Thatta. The body of minor was recovered late night from the fields of bananas.
The heirs of the girl said, when Dua did not return home after hours, they went out to find her and found her naked body in the banana fields near village.
Police were called immediately and shifted the body to civil hospital for postmortem. The attempts of sexually assault were made and the girl was choked to death, initial postmortem reports revealed. However, the complete reason behind her death will be disclosed after the final medical report.
The minor girl was laid to rest in a local graveyard of the town, while police arrested a suspect.
The city mourned the death of minor girl, with a complete shutter-down strike.
