ISLAMABAD: The post-to-post small arms firing between Pakistani and India troops are continue on Saturday in different sectors along the Line of Control (LoC) in disputed Jammu and Kashmir after ninth consecutive night, after April 22 Indian flase flag operation of Baisaran Valley of Pahalgam.
The official sources have confirmed the skirmishes with Indian forces across the LoC. However, no casualties were reported.
After April 22 terrorist attack on Indian tourists in Baisaran Valley India Government had claimed to launch surgical strikes against Pakistan but vigilant Pakistan Air Force (PAF) has ruined Indian dreams by forcing Rafale aircrafts to retreat.
Indian after its failure in launching strikes has started border skirmishes against Pakistan in violation of the ceasefire agreement.
Today (Saturday) was the ninth consecutive night of unprovoked firing from across the border, which had mostly been restricted to LoC. There was only one incident of firing along the International Border (IB), between the two sides comes amid heightened tensions following the April 22 terror attack in Pahalgam in which 26 people, mostly tourists, were killed.
“During the night of May 2 and 3, the Indian Army resorted to unprovoked small arms fire across the LoC opposite the Kupwara, Uri, and Akhnoor areas” official sources said.
“Pakistan Army responded Indian attacks in th eair and ground promptly and proportionately,” the sources said.
