CAA announces to restore domestic flight operation from Saturday

ISLAMABAD: Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has announced to restore country-wide flight operation partially from tomorrow (Saturday).

For the partial flight operation national carrier Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) and serene airline have issued a schedule for five major cities.

As many as 68 flights will be operated from Karachi weekly while 32, 32 each flights will be operated from Lahore and Islamabad.

Over six flights will be operated from Quetta and four flights will be operated from Peshwar.

As per the SOPs domestice flights will carry 50 per cent load of passengers and social distancing and masks ban will be ensured.

All the passengers going in and off to interior areas will be screened for medical check up completely.

It is pertinent to mention here that CAA had earlier banned domestic flights till May 29.
