Cabinet of GB reviews development performance

GILGIT: Cabinet of Gilgit-Baltistan (GB) reviewed the development performance of the Government and made important decision regarding future plans.

Chief Minister Hafiz Hafeez-ur-Rehman chaired the cabinet meeting and directed concerned officials to appoint employees under special pay scale to avoid their shortage in Power, Education and Health departments.

In this regard, he directed to advertise vacant posts in newspapers till 30th of this month.

The Chief Minister GB asked Health Department to formulate new policy for implementation on health insurance scheme for Provincial Government employees till upcoming cabinet meeting.

He also directed Health department to prepare health endowment fund for which Government has sanctioned one billion rupees.

The cabinet demanded Federal Government to appoint Judges in Supreme Appellate Court and Chief Court to dispose of pending cases.
