LAHORE: Senior leader of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and former interior minister Rana Sanaullah has said that despite terrorism concerns, elections should not be delayed.
The law-enforcement agencies need to ensure appropriate security for elections, he urged.
Talking to media persons in Lahore, Rana Sanaullah also urged the caretaker government to handle the situation and ensure timely polls.
He mentioned that election-related work has been completed in South Punjab. Advocated timely elections, he said the PML-N would secure more than 100 seats in Punjab.
The former interior minister said the party was open to seat adjustments but there would be no election alliance in Punjab.
