KARACHI: Cases lodged against former President Asif Ali Zardari and his sister Faryal Talpur have not yet lodged and they have been kept in custody, said Saeed Ghani, Sindh Minister for Information and Archives.
“Former president Asif Ali Zardari has been incarcerated for six months now with no case lodged against him, and demanded to include his personal physician on medical board” Ghani said while addressing a press conference in Karachi.
Saeed Ghani said that for the first time in history, crime and trial are being held in different provinces. “Why are these unique justice scales chosen for the Pakistan Peoples Party?” he asserted, adding that the allegations against Asif Zardari and Faryal Talpur belong to Sindh.
Sindh Information Minister expressed that cases against Zardari, Faryal Talpur and Khursheed Shah have not yet been started. “If a bargain had to be made, they would not have suffered so much,” he said, adding that cases should be handled as per law.
He urged that every death in Thar should not be attributed to malnutrition. He added that some children are brought to hospitals in serious condition. Saeed Ghani said that the hospital in Mithi – a sub district and the capital of Tharparkar District in the Sindh province – has already been improved.
