ISLAMABAD: CDA (Capital Development Authority) has launched operation against illegal construction and vacated state land from occupants.
The Enforcement Directorate of the CDA on Monday conducted an operation with the assistance of Islamabad District Administration (ICT) and Islamabad Police in order to speed up development work and removed hurdles in development activities in Sector E-12.
During operation, the Enforcement staff demolished illegal constructions that were hampering the ongoing development work and vacated possession of acquired land from illegal occupants. Furthermore, several huts/jhugees established on the state land were also removed so that development activities could be carried out without any obstruction.
During the operation, 03 illegally constructed houses that were obstructing development work were demolished by utilizing heavy machinery. The Illegal constructions demolished during the operation, which include 9 rooms, 3 kitchens, 5 washrooms and 3 boundary walls were removed.
