BEIJING: China has reiterated that the Kashmir dispute is left over from history and should be properly and peacefully resolved in accordance with the United Nations Charter and relevant UN Security Council resolutions.
At a joint declaration between Pakistan and China during at conclusion of five day visit of China the two sides underscored the importance of maintaining peace and stability in South Asia, the need for resolution of all outstanding disputes and their opposition to any unilateral action.
The Pakistani side also briefed the Chinese side on the latest developments of the situation in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
