Coronavirus Pandemic: Pakistan reports 395 coronavirus cases, 11 deaths in 24 hours

ISLAMABAD: Coronavirus continues to affect people across Pakistan as during last 24 hours 11 more deaths were while 395 people tested positive of the deadly virus.

According to the latest figures at the National Coronavirus Dashboard of the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC), COVID-19 has claimed 11 more lives and the toll surged to 28,823 across Pakistan. Another 395 more people were tested positive of the virus that took the overall toll of positive cases to 1,288,761 on Saturday morning.

According to reports appeared on the NCOC Dashboard Punjab remains the worst-hit province in terms of deaths followed by Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

The figure given by the authorities has shown that 28,823 people have lost their lives so far out of which 13,050 individuals have lost their lives to the epidemic in Punjab, 7,634 in Sindh 5,885 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 962 in Islamabad, 743 in Azad Kashmir, 363 in Balochistan, and 186 in Gilgit-Baltistan.

the reports regarding the positive cases across Pakistan have stated that so far 1,288,761 people were contracted by the deadly disease out of which 477,721 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Sindh, 443,794 in Punjab 180,611 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa 108,081 in Islamabad, 34,601 in Azad Kashmir 33,528 in Balochistan and 10,425 in Gilgit-Baltistan.

Pakistan has so far conducted 22,479,184 coronavirus tests and 50,859 in the last 24 hours. 1,250,427 patients have recovered in the country whereas 759 patients are in critical condition.

The COVID-19 positivity ratio was recorded at 0.77 per cent.

So far, 83,679,855 people have received their first dose of coronavirus vaccine including 498,897 in last 24 hours. 55,309,570 citizens have been fully vaccinated while 748,015 received their second dose in last 24 hours.

The number of total administered doses has reached to 131,311,097 with 1,203,514 in the last 24 hours.
