ISLAMABAD: Coronavirus epidemic is still continue to take toll as Pakistan reported 3 more deaths and 482 new infecions during last 24 hours.
According to the latest figures displayed on National Coronavirus Dashboard of the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) 482 persons have been tested positive for COVID-19 besides three more people have lost their lives in the past 24 hours.
As many as 482 more people were contrated by novel coronavirus in last 24 hours and the overall number of positive cases has surged to 1,294,861. The nationwide tally of fatalities has jumped to 28,921 after 3 more deaths were reported on Thursday morning.
The fingures shown by NCOC regarding the province wise Coronavirus upheaval Punjab remains the worst-hit province in terms of deaths followed by Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Country has reported 28,921 deaths by the deadly virus so far out of which 13,066 individuals have lost their lives to the epidemic in Punjab, 7,666 in Sindh 5,927 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa 967 in Islamabad, 746 in Azad Kashmir, 363 in Balochistan, and 186 in Gilgit-Baltistan.
As far rhe positive cases across the country are concerned 1,294,861 people were rested positive of the virus so far out of whch 481,381 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Sindh, 444,862 in Punjab 181,334 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa 108,565 in Islamabad, 34,660 in Azad Kashmir 33,630 in Balochistan and 10,429 in Gilgit-Baltistan.
Pakistan has so far conducted 23,324,549 coronavirus tests and 50,662 in the last 24 hours. 1,255,931 patients have recovered in the country whereas 639 patients are in critical condition.
The COVID-19 positivity ratio was recorded at 0.95 per cent.
So far, 95,159,489 people have received their first dose of coronavirus vaccine including 897,864 in last 24 hours. 68,508,472 citizens have been fully vaccinated while 1,002,233 received their second dose in last 24 hours.
The number of total administered doses has reached to 153,477,237 with 1,526,150 in the last 24 hours.
