Coronavirus Second Wave: 82 new deaths reported while 2,184 tested positive

ISLAMABAD: Coronavirus second wave is still continue and 82 new deaths were reported round the country besides 2,184 people were tested positive during last 24 hours.
Coronavirus Variant also started taking toll as many victims of this new version of deadly virus have been found in Pakistan. National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) confirmed that reports of many people were seen positive to this disease in Karachi among people coming from Britain.
During last 24 hours Pakistan reported 82 new deaths nationwide and 2,184 people were tested positive for COVID-19.
2,184 new coronavirus epidemic infections were reported in last 24 hours and 82 new deaths have been confirmed. With 2,184 new infections reported in the country the toll surged to 484,362 cases and with 82 more deaths the toll of fatalities jumped to 10,258 deaths on Saturday.
According to the latest figures displayed on National Coronavirus Dashboard of the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC), the NCOC on Saturday confirmed the death of 82 more people during last 24 hours besies reported that 2,184 persons tested positive for COVID-19.
Sindh with 216,632 overall COVID-19 cases remains the worst-hit province by the pandemic in terms of cases followed by Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan. Punjab has overtaken Sindh in most number of casualties.
So far 216,632 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Sindh, 139,341 in Punjab 59,023 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 38,020 in Islamabad, 18,181 in Balochistan, 8,303 in Azad Kashmir and 4,862 in Gilgit-Baltistan.
Nationwide tally of fatalities remains 10,258 out of that 4,085 individuals have lost their lives to the epidemic in Punjab 3,582 in Sindh, 1,661 in KP, 421 in Islamabad, 224 in Azad Kashmir, 184 in Balochistan, and 101 in GB.
Pakistan has so far conducted 6,775,307 coronavirus tests and 38,229 in the last 24 hours. 438,974 coronavirus patients have recovered in the country whereas 2,264 patients are in critical condition.
