ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has reported 65 new deaths to Coronavirus pandemic and 2,179 people were tested positive duing last 24 hours.
Nationwide infections toll reported on Saturday was 2,179 to coronavirus epidemic besides 65 more deaths were confirmed. With 2,179 new infections reported in the country that took the toll to 543,214 cases and with 65 new deaths the toll of fatalities jumped to 11,623.
According to the latest figures displayed on National Coronavirus Dashboard of the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC), the NCOC confirmed the death of 65 more people during last 24 hours besides reported that 2,179 persons tested positive for COVID-19.
Sindh with 245,663 overall COVID-19 cases remains the worst-hit province by the pandemic in terms of cases followed by Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan. Punjab has overtaken Sindh in most number of casualties.
So far across the country 245,663 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Sindh, 156,928 in Punjab 66,679 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 41,255 in Islamabad, 18,809 in Balochistan, 8,972 in Azad Kashmir and 4,908 in Gilgit-Baltistan.
Nationwide tally of fatalities remains 11,623 out of that 4,716 individuals have lost their lives to the epidemic in Punjab 3,986 in Sindh, 1,890 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 475 in Islamabad, 259 in Azad Kashmir, 195 in Balochistan, and 102 in Gilgit-Baltistan.
Pakistan has so far conducted 7,889,741 coronavirus tests and 41,435 in the last 24 hours. 498,152 coronavirus patients have recovered in the country whereas 2,111 patients are in critical condition.
