Coronavirus pandemic has claimed 39 more lives round the country besides 1,895 people were tested positive during last 24 hours.
1,895 new coronavirus epidemic infections were reported in last 24 hours and 39 new deaths have been confirmed. With 1,895 new infections reported in the country the toll surged to 488,529 cases and with 39 more deaths the toll of fatalities jumped to 10,350 deaths on Monday.
According to the latest figures displayed on National Coronavirus Dashboard of the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC), the NCOC on Monday confirmed the death of 39 more people during last 24 hours besies reported that 1,895 persons tested positive for COVID-19.
Sindh with 218,597 overall COVID-19 cases remains the worst-hit province by the pandemic in terms of cases followed by Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan. Punjab has overtaken Sindh in most number of casualties.
So far 218,597 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Sindh, 140,714 in Punjab 59,484 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 38,263 in Islamabad, 18,247 in Balochistan, 8,357 in Azad Kashmir and 4,867 in Gilgit-Baltistan.
Nationwide tally of fatalities remains 10,350 out of that 4,124 individuals have lost their lives to the epidemic in Punjab 3,611 in Sindh, 1,675 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 428 in Islamabad, 226 in Azad Kashmir, 185 in Balochistan, and 101 in Gilgit Baltistan.
Pakistan has so far conducted 6,849,867 coronavirus tests and 30,139 in the last 24 hours. 442,457 coronavirus patients have recovered in the country whereas 2,242 patients are in critical condition.
