SHEIKHUPURA : At least 11 people including a couple and a teenager were injured in separate road accidents in different localities here on Thursday, police said.
According to details, the first accident took place at Lahore Road near Joyanwala Morr outside a multi-national factory where a passenger van got out of control of the driver due to over-speeding and it hit a mini-truck parked by road side. Eight passengers were seriously injured in the accident.
An over-speeding van knocked down a motorcycle carrying a couple and child at Kala Khatai Road near Narang Mandi resultantly Dilshad 40, his wife Yasmeen 35, and their 12-year-old son Touseef were critically injured.
The injured of both accidents were shifted to different hospitals of respective areas and the police, after registering separate cases, have started investigation. (INP)
