ISLAMABAD: COVID-19 claimed 77 more lives in Pakistan as well as 2,691 more infections were reported during last 24 hours round the country by authority at the helm of affairs.
With 77 more COVID-19 deaths reported in the country the death toll surged to 4,839, and with 2,691 new infections confirmed nation-wide the toll of infections jumped to 234,509.
The National Command and Operation Center (NCOC), has confirmed 234,509 coronavirus infections in the country as well as it reported 4,839 deaths due to COVID-19.
According to latest figure displayed on National Coronavirus Dashboard of NCOC on July 07, Tuesday 10:40am, the province-wise break up after confirming the toll of 234,509 infections show that Sindh has become the worst-hit province by the pandemic in terms of confirmed infections with 96,236 infectons followed by Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Islamabad.
Sindh as worst hit province stands at top of the unfortunate table of COVID-19 infections with toll of 96,236 infection across the province and Punjab is still at second position with 82,669 confirmed infections. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa also crossed reached to 28,236 infections of COVID-19 across the province. Islamabad Capital Territory reached to 13,557 infections, while Balochistan jumped to 10,841 infections. Gilgit Baltistan rezched to 1,587 and Azad Jammu Kashmir 1,383 infections.
Pakistan crossed one million mark of COVID-19 tests as so far 1,445,153 coronavirus tests were conducted nation-wide out of which 24,577 during last 24 hours. 134,957 coronavirus patients have recovered in the country whereas many are in critical condition. Coronavirus epidemic patients are under treatment at quarantine centers of 462 hospitals where 7,295 beds are available.

Punjab is at top of the list of confirmed deaths with 1,899 while Sindh with 1,572 deaths at number two. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa death toll surged to 1038, Balochistan 124, Gilgit-Baltistan 30, Islamabad Capital Territory 140 and AJK 36.
