ISLAMABAD: Death toll due to Coronavirus infections across Pakistan reached 220, while the number confirmed infected patients cases crossed 10,513 by Thursday morning.
Number of confirmed cases in Punjab reached 4,590, Sindh 3,373, Khyber Phakhtunkhwa and Balochistan 1,453 and 552 cases respectively.
Islamabad (Capital Territory) has 204 while Gilgit Baltistan has 290 and Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) 51 confirmed cases.
With new death reports total number of confirmed deaths reached to 224, by mid-day.
Health expects are expressing concerns over rapid surge in infected cases during the last few days. They predict a rapid increase of infected people and peak of the Coronavirus cases is expected to reach in mid of May.
