ISLAMABAD: Pakistan during the COVID-19 Second Wave has reported 28 new deaths and 1,286 people were tested positive of Virus during last 24 hours.
During last 24 hours 28 more people have lost lives to COVID-19 and 1,286 more people were tested positive to the virus round the Pakistan on Saturday.
Nationwide infections toll reported on Saturday was 1,286 to coronavirus epidemic besides 28 more deaths were confirmed. With 1,286 new infections reported in the country that took the toll to 553,128 cases and with 31 new deaths the toll of fatalities jumped to 11,914.
According to the latest figures displayed on National Coronavirus Dashboard of the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC), the NCOC confirmed the death of 28 more people during last 24 hours besides reported that 1,286 persons tested positive for COVID-19.
Sindh with 250,043 overall COVID-19 cases remains the worst-hit province by the pandemic in terms of cases followed by Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan. Punjab has overtaken Sindh in most number of casualties.
So far across the country 250,043 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Sindh, 160,162 in Punjab 68,180 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 41,819 in Islamabad, 18,849 in Balochistan, 9,160 in Azad Kashmir and 4,915 in Gilgit-Baltistan.
Nationwide tally of fatalities remains 11,914 out of that 4,854 individuals have lost their lives to the epidemic in Punjab 4,066 in Sindh, 1,948 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 478 in Islamabad, 270 in Azad Kashmir, 196 in Balochistan, and 102 in Gilgit Baltistan.
Pakistan has so far conducted 8,155,766 coronavirus tests and 33,319 in the last 24 hours. 508,700 coronavirus patients have recovered in the country whereas 1,908 patients are in critical condition.
