ISLAMABAD: Pakistan during the COVID-19 Second Wave has reported 33 new deaths and 1,270 people were tested positive of Virus during last 24 hours.
During last 24 hours 33 more people have lost lives to COVID-19 and 1,270 more people were tested positive to the virus round the Pakistan on Friday.
Nationwide infections toll reported on Friday was 1,270 to coronavirus epidemic besides 33 more deaths were confirmed. With 1,270 new infections reported in the country that took the toll to 560,363 cases and with 33 new deaths the toll of fatalities jumped to 12,218.
According to the latest figures displayed on National Coronavirus Dashboard of the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC), the NCOC confirmed the death of 33 more people during last 24 hours besides reported that 1,270 persons tested positive for COVID-19.
Sindh with 252,719 overall COVID-19 cases remains the worst-hit province by the pandemic in terms of cases followed by Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan. Punjab has overtaken Sindh in most number of casualties.
So far across the country 252,719 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Sindh, 162,875 in Punjab, 69,164 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 18,916 in Balochistan, 42,401 in Islamabad, 9,359 in Azad Kashmir and 4,929 in Gilgit-Baltistan.
Nationwide tally of fatalities remains 12,218 out of that 4,994 individuals have lost their lives to the epidemic in Punjab, 4,183 in Sindh, 1,980 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 197 in Balochistan, 483 in Islamabad, 279 in Azad Kashmir and 102 in Gilgit Baltistan.
Pakistan has so far conducted 8,360,823 coronavirus tests and 35,280 in the last 24 hours. 518,164 coronavirus patients have recovered in the country whereas 1,743 patients are in critical condition.
