ISLAMABAD: Third Wave of Coronavirus pandemic turned more worst round the Pakistan and during last 24 hours Pakistan reported 5,312 new cases along with 105 new deaths.
During last 24 hours 105 new deaths were reported besides 5,312 people were tested positive to virus, which was highest ever across the country. Government is looking for many options to curb the deadly virus.
On Friday morning the country has reported 105 new deaths by COVID-19 pandemic and 5,312 more people were tested positive to the virus round the Pakistan.
Nationwide infections surged to new high during last one year as 5,312 were tested to coronavirus epidemic besides 105 more deaths were confirmed. With 5,312 new infections reported in the country that took the toll to 710,829 cases and with 105 new deaths the toll of fatalities jumped to 15,229.
According to latest figures displayed on National Coronavirus Dashboard of the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC), the NCOC confirmed the death of 105 more people during last 24 hours besides reported that 5,312 persons tested positive for COVID-19.
Punjab has been declared worst hit province during this month as positivity rate of the province was witnessed over 11 per cent in some parts. Sindh has reported 267,970 overall coronavirus epidemic infections remained the worst-hit province of the country in terms of cases followed by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan. Punjab has overtaken Sindh in most number of casualties.
So far across the country 267,970 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Sindh, 243,295 in Punjab, 96,128 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 20,097 in Balochistan, 64,173 in Islamabad, 14,069 in Azad Kashmir and 5,097 in Gilgit-Baltistan.
Nationwide tally of fatalities remains 15,229 out of that 6,851 individuals have lost their lives to the epidemic in Punjab, 4,521 in Sindh, 2,553 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 213 in Balochistan, 597 in Islamabad, 391 in Azad Kashmir and 103 in Gilgit-Baltistan.
Pakistan has so far conducted 10,639,825 coronavirus tests and 54,948 in the last 24 hours. 625,789 coronavirus patients have recovered in the country whereas 4,116 patients are in critical condition.
