VEHARI: A notorious criminal under custody of Vehari Police was killed after his accomplices ambushed the police here in the wee hours of Saturday.
According to details, the police was taking an under custody criminal for recovery when his accomplices ambushed the police in attempt to free him.

The under custody accused was killed and assailants fled the scene.
The body was shifted to hospital. The police cordoned off the area and launched search operation for attackers. — INP
