LAHORE: Governor Punjab Muhammad Balighur Rehman has said that dairy and livestock is a very important sector of Pakistan.
Talking to media, the Governor Punjab said that holding such exhibitions will help in bringing innovation and growth in our growing dairy industry.
“I am happy that the vice chancellors of our Punjab University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences and Cholistan University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences are also present here while a large number of students will also come here”, the Governor said.
He further stated that there was a lot of room for improvement in the dairy and livestock sector.
He said that dairy and livestock is an important component of our rural population. By organizing this exhibition, the farmers will be aware of modern technology.
The Governor Punjab said that such exhibitions play an important role in bringing social and economic development in the country and create opportunities to learn new technologies.
He said that it is very welcome that such companies are also present in this exhibition are manufacturing complete machinery in Pakistan, apart from this, there are also exporters and importers. This exhibition is providing a platform to everyone.
Balighur Rehman said that it was also a matter of great honor for us that international delegations are also present in this exhibition.
