NEW YORK: The Deputy Prime Minister (DPM) and Foreign Minister, Senator Ishaq Dar, held a productive meeting with the American Pakistani Public Affairs Committee (APPAC) in which they underscored APPAC’s ongoing contributions to empowering the Pakistani diaspora, advocating for inclusive policies, and promoting community leadership in the United States.
During the discussion, Senator Dar praised APPAC for its consistent efforts in acting as a bridge between Pakistan and the US, noting that its work has been instrumental in enhancing mutual understanding and advancing shared goals between the two nations.
He reaffirmed Pakistan’s appreciation for the diaspora’s role in shaping positive bilateral relations and emphasized the importance of continued collaboration with platforms like APPAC.
