LAHORE: Death of the person who passed away in Mayo Hospital was not due to coronavirus, said Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar here on Tuesday.
In a tweet, Usman Buzdar said that government has received the individual’s test reports.
He wrote “We have received test reports of Imran Ali, who lost his life in Mayo Hospital, and his cause of death was not COVID19.
He also confirmed 8 cases in Punjab and said “So far Punjab has 8 confirmed cases and are being provided best available treatment.”
CM Buzdar also urged everyone to act responsibly in these testing times. “We have received test reports of Imran Ali, who lost his life in Mayo Hospital, and his cause of death was not #COVID19”.

Earlier, Punjab Minister for Health Dr Yasmeen Rashid had confirmed the man s death and said that his test results were awaited. She said that the information would be given to the media when it arrives.
