Having a big smile on face, hide all the restlessness, pain inside …… and end up in suicide. Depression be never a choice, it’s a serious mental disease. We never know what the person had been going through before doing it.
I always wonder what makes people so lonely and hopeless and they reached to the level where they don’t find peace in solitary, happiness in life even among friends and family. I question frequently to myself and I found the answers while cuddling my little 2.5 year old son.
He was continuously crying, showing his tantrums and grumpiness because he was far away from me and couldn’t fix his toy. The moment he held my hand, he hugged me, vented out his emotions and told me his problems. I wiped his tears and cheered him up. He became peaceful and contented, however, the problem remained; the toy was still broken.
A child feels happy and calm in her mother’s arm then how it is possible that we are not relaxed when we are close to our creator; Allah who love us more than the love 70 mothers could. When we get far from him we feel lost, night becomes restless and dark, morning becomes a burden. We try to fix our problems by our own but, we barely figure out what the trouble is, what is killing our peace and happiness. The moment we take one step forward towards Allah, we get our life, peace, smile, joy and everything back. Although, the problem remains there, however, power of faith gives us courage to handle obstacles and find out solutions.
After getting success and achievements we forget from where it comes from. We forget our creator from whom we belong to and to him, we shall return. Our prosperity, solitary peace is in Allah’s hand. His ‘Kun’ makes everything possible. We just need to keep our faith in Him.
