ISLAMABAD: SSP(Traffic) Islamabad Farrukh Rashid has warned the police that bad behavior with public by the police officers would not be tolerated as there is no room for ill tempered elements in Islamabad police
That it is mandatory for every ITP officer to respect the dignity of citizens and to deal with general public in positive and professional manner while issuing ticket to the traffic violators.
Speaking during seminar/briefing here on Friday, Farrukh Rashid said that the ITP police was a role model for all to gain international standards.
He said action will be taken against the ill mannered Traffic staff as there is no place of such staff in ITP.
The SSP Traffic said that in order to change culture of Police, all ranks of police have strictly been directed to pay Salute to the road users as per vision of IG Islamabad and the initiative movement in implementation of Salute while issuing of challan. In this regard, necessary briefings, lectures & seminars of ITP staff to make sure to be in patience and to treat the citizens in a good way
Farrukh Rashid also given lectures to traffic police officers and soldiers in the seminar held in ITP HQ on 09-07-2019 to make sure the self respect of citizens and to treat them in a polite manner. The SSP Traffic said, “We have to enhance ITP’s actual position.”(INP)
