SWABI: Lucky District Nazim Swabi and his companions narrowly escaped in a road accident here Thursday. A youth was electrocuted to death which repairing UPS.
Police said that District Nazim Haji Muhammad Zahid Khan along with his companions was on his village Shewa when the car while trying to save a motorcyclist who suddenly appeared on road skidded off road and plunged into a gorge near Asota Sharif in Swabi.
The Local Government representative and his companions luckily remained unhurt in the accident while the car endured minor damages.
Meanwhile, a youth Zakir Khan 28, was electrocuted to death while repairing UPS of his home in Mohallah Qasim Khel, Swabi. The body was shifted to hospital where it was handed over to heirs after postmortem. (INP/SB)
